As a CRS Challenge participant, you'll be responsible for collecting funds that will benefit cancer research. In order to achieve this, you’ll have to reach out to your network to get them involved in this great adventure you are taking on! Rest assured, you'll be guided every step of the way by the Cancer Research Society team. We help all our participants to reach their fundraising goals every year. We know fundraising inside out, so we will give you tips on how to mobilize your network and will provide you with the tools you need to make you more effective in this process. The positive response from our participants' networks is always surprising, and people often eagerly offer support in this amazing adventure that ultimately benefits us all.

You will discover beautiful panoramas dotted with houses with traditional and colorful architecture of which the local inhabitants are very proud.
In 2015, Madelinot walkers who had walked the paths of Compostela came together to develop a long hiking trail through the Islands. The founding committee, made up of Carole Longuépée, Carole Turbide, Fernande Petitpas, Claire Boudreau, Réal Jomphe and Jean Bouffard, were joined by a team of volunteers to ensure the sustainability, maintenance and improvement of the trails.
Your crossing of the Wadi Rum desert environment starts in Amman, capital of Jordan. This city from the Iron Age is one of the oldest in the world. It is the gateway to the desert and to 9000 years of history. On your way to the ancient city of Petra, you'll witness spectacular desert landscapes made up of canyons, natural archways, cliffs and caves. At the end of your journey, you'll finally arrive at Petra, a city founded in the 8th century B.C., well known for its history, its buildings and its facades cut into the sandstone. A challenging journey through time that will take you to the awe-inspiring roots of mankind.
As soon as you arrive in Ajaccio, famed birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte and capital of Corsica, your 11-day adventure begins. The Mediterranean charms of the city set the stage for a fantastic 108 km journey through the great hike trails of the GR 20. The pedestrian route is often touted as one of the most beautiful of the planet. This trip between sky, sea and mountains will allow you to observe varied panoramas that will confirm, at every turn, the well deserved name of beauty island given to Corsica. This intermediate challenge requires no special equipment. Good walking shoes and a taste for adventure will suffice for an unforgettable experience that will forever be engraved in memory.
